A Fab Summer Read
Summer vacations are all about the quick and easy summer read. From Nicholas Sparks to Jennifer Weiner, Elin Hilderbrand to Debbie Macomber, there are plenty of great summer novels that are as hard to put down as that pina colada. Don’t want to be weighed down carrying too many paperbacks? Invest in a Kindle. Not only does the screen allow you to read in the bright summer sun, but you can also adjust the font size and load it up with tons of books before you board your plane.
A Wicker Purse
It’s the hot accessories trend of the season – and the perfect beach accompaniment. A small wicker purse or bamboo clutch is perfect for perusing local markets and eateries, whilst a large straw bag makes the best beach bag for stashing towels and sun lotion.
A Turkish Sarong Towel
Save space in your luggage by investing in a Turkish Sarong Towel. These lightweight towels not only work as a beach towel, but they also double up as a sexy sarong and are available in a range of gorgeous prints.
A Beach Hat
Protect your hair and skin with a beach hat. We love a floppy straw hat that can be rolled up and tossed inside luggage for providing adequate shade. Many beach hats now also come with SPF built inside the material giving protection from the sun’s harmful rays.
SPF Sun Shirt
Nothing spoils a vacation quicker than a nasty sunburn. While packing a good sunscreen is a must, throw in a long-sleeve sun shirt as well.
