With a focus on areas of the country experiencing signs of recovery when it comes to travel, JetBlue has announced plans to start adding 30 new domestic routes.
According to TravelPulse, the airline will focus on airports where travel for both leisure and/or visiting friends and family is increasing in determining where the new routes will be added. The new routes will be added between July and October, with tickets on sale now.
“Coronavirus has transformed airline route maps, and as we begin to see small signs of recovery, we continue to be flexible with our network plans to respond to demand trends and generate cash in support of our business,” said JetBlue’s head of revenue and planning, Scott Laurence, in a statement reported by TravelPulse. “We’ve selected routes where customers are showing some interest in travel again and where our low fares and award-winning experience will be noticed.”
