Giada De Laurentiis is known for her mouth-watering Italian cooking, so it’s no surprise the Food Network star is adding a Tuscan flair to her Thanksgiving menu this year!

The superstar chef revealed the scrumptious offerings she has planned for this year’s Thanksgiving, revealing on her Giadzy blog, “Italian dishes tend to lend themselves to the autumnal feast.”

This year, Giada drew inspiration from Tuscany. With a turkey inspired by Porchetta(Tuscany’s beloved rolled pork), an overflowing antipasti board, grape focaccia inspired by one of our favorite Tuscan chefs, a north Italian take on pecan pie and more,” her blog revealed.
Giada plans to start the festivities with the Ultimate Antipasti Board, featuring cheese, crackers, olives, and condiments from Italy. She also plans to serve it with a Calabrian Jam Fig Crostini and Grape and Rosemary Focaccia.

The star of the table is Giada’s take on the classic Thanksgiving turkey – a Porchetta-style Stuffed Turkey Breast.

“Porchetta is one of Tuscany’s greatest inventions: a slow roasted pork roast rolled up with herbs and spices,” Giada revealed. “This turkey breast follows exactly that same procedure, stuffed with an incredible mix of fennel, orange zest, apples and shallots. Bonus: it takes way less time to cook than a whole turkey.”

Alongside the turkey breast, Giada plans to serve: Ciabatta Stuffing with Chestnuts and Pancetta, Spinach and Pancetta Stuffed Shells, Beet, Olive, and Kale Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Candied Carrots with a Walnut Gremolata, Cranberry Sauce with Mostarda – yum!
To finish the festive feast, Giada will serve up two desserts: Chocolate Hazelnut Pie and Torta Di Mele (apple cake).
