The TSA will now allow larger sized hand sanitizers (up to 12 ounces) in carry-on luggage to help concerned travelers take precautions against the coronavirus.
The Transportation Security Administration tweeted on Friday travelers can pack hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and face masks – and can also ask TSA Officers to change their gloves.

All other liquids, gels and aerosols are still limited to 3.4 ounces with the change only applying to hand sanitizers.

According to the Los Angeles Times, anyone bringing hand sanitizer larger than 3.4 ounces will need to be screened separately, so allow yourself enough time for that.
