Fancy the idea of calling Club Med Punta Cana home for a year? Have a passion for sustainability and living green? If so, Club Med’s latest position has “dream job” written all over it!
According to Travel + Leisure, Club Med is hiring their first-ever sustainability coordinator – a job they’re calling the “Ultimate Green Job.”
The role will include living for a whole year at Club Med Punta Cana and traveling to eight Club Med resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Canada, where they will “support Club Med’s ongoing social responsibility efforts.”
Travel + Leisure reports the role will include developing guest activities such as turtle releases and beach cleanups, helping to protect native species, and implementing food waste management systems.
Club Med announced in April new initiatives to help their ongoing sustainability efforts, including eliminating all single-use plastic products, solar panel installation at Club Med Miches Playa Esmerelda, organic composting with Grogenics and The Ocean Foundation, and introducing Beyond Meat products at some of their resorts.
