American Airlines is giving passengers more options when it comes to testing by expanding its pre-flight COVID-test program.
According to numerous media outlets, passengers flying to select Caribbean islands with American Airlines will have the option to pre-test at home.
American Airlines have partnered with LetsGetChecked to offer an at-home testing option for passengers flying to Belize, St. Lucia, and Grenada beginning November 16.
Travel+Leisure reports the PCR test will be taken at home under the supervision of a medical professional. Travelers will be responsible for the $129 test cost and results can be expected within 48 hours.
Travelers to Belize must take the test within 72 hours of departure. Travelers to Grenada must take the test within 7 days of arrival and fill out a pre-travel form. According to Travel+Leisure, travelers to St. Lucia must take the test within 7 days of departure, fill out a pre-arrival form and be subject to a temperature check upon arrival.
