Uber to Roll Out Party Buses This Summer

Travel and entertainment are coming back in a big way, and Uber is looking to cater to the post-pandemic frenzy by rolling out a slew of new features for customers this summer – including party buses.
Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi sat down with CBS Morning to discuss the new products, revealing, “we want to make sure we grow the right way.”

“Travel is coming back in a big way,” Khosrowshahi told CBS Morning. “I think people have been sitting at home for too long, and they want to get out there.”
Uber has seen an 18 percent increase in the number of rides for the first three months of 2022 compared to the same time period last year and plans to launch a new charter service via its Uber app.
According to CBS, customers will be able to book party buses, passenger vans, charter vehicles, or coach buses via the app.
“We’ll give you the upfront fare, all of the information, and make sure that that charter gets you in time to go have a good time,” Khosrowshahi shared with CBS.
