U.S. News Healthiest Communities scored nearly 3,000 counties across the nation on 84 indicators across 10 categories that drive overall health. Those categories included population health, equity, education, economy, housing, food & nutrition, environment, public safety, community vitality, and infrastructure.
According to U.S News & World Report, these are the top ten 500 Healthiest Communities in the USA for 2020 – and Colorado took six of the top ten spots!

2. Douglas County, Colorado
3. Falls Church City, Virginia
4. Broomfield County, Colorado
5. Routt County, Colorado
6. Loudoun County, Virginia
7. Carver County, Minnesota
8. Pitkin County, Colorado
9. Summit County, Colorado
10. San Miguel County, Colorado
