One group in Orlando is determined to not let the coronavirus pandemic put a halt to haunted houses this Halloween by coming up with a unique way to allow for social distancing.

According to Orlando Weekly, a new drive-thru Halloween experience will be coming to Orlando in the Fall.
The ‘Haunted Road’ will be Orlando’s “first immersive, completely contactless drive-thru Halloween experience” and will “tell an original, theatrical story through twisted creatures and “unexpected scares” in every drive-thru scene,” Orlando Weekly reports.

“It’s all about physical distancing and having fun,” the Haunted Road team told Orlando Weekly, which will present some familiar characters in nightmarish new scenarios. One plot line follows the story of Rapunzel, “as she journeys into a world of disarray, faces bloodcurdling creatures, and hundreds of shocking scares.”

Families will younger children can still participate in a scaled-down version of the drive-thru experience, with “Haunted Road” offering a family-friendly version of the event in the daytime and on select weekends.

According to Orlando Weekly, admission prices will start at $15 and although exact dates have yet to be determined, the Haunted Road team anticipate the event will run from the end of September through the end of October.
