After a two-year hiatus, the White House will be reopening for public tours beginning April 15th.
The Biden administration announced the restart of the free public tours and face masks will be optional for visitors.
Initially, the public tours of the White House will take place on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., excluding federal holidays.
“The White House will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation with guidance based on recommendations from the CDC, and other public health officials and medical experts, and reserves the right to adjust availability of the public tours as necessary to adhere to the latest health guidance,” the White House said in a statement.
We can expect to see additional information regarding future White House events, including the White House Easter Egg Roll in the coming days.
