Planning a weekend getaway for Labor Day? According to Thrillist, waterfront locations and small cities are trending, but you may not have to battle a ton of like-minded vacationers this year.
Thrillist reports that bookings for the Labor Day weekend are down by approximately 30 percent compared to last year, thanks to inflation, the cost of gas, and the chaos of flying. However, Airbnb reports solo trip bookings are up by 20 percent compared to the same period last year.
If your budget is urging you to get out of town for summer’s last hurrah, Airbnb revealed these are their top trending destinations for Labor Day 2022:
