National Geographic Announces ‘Best of the World’ List for 2018

National Geographic has just announced their ‘Best of the World’ list for 2018 – a compilation of 21 ‘must see’ countries and cities.

This year the 21 countries have been divided up into three different categories: Cities, Nature, or Culture and the results are showcased in the December/January issue of National Geographic Traveler.
Of the results editor in chief of Traveler, George Stone revealed, “We looked for cities that bustle with new energy and intrigue; parklands that percolate with vitality and ecological protection; and communities rich in local character that offer opportunities for cultural engagement.”
The following 21 destinations that are a ‘must see’ for 2018 are:
