The hotel requires applicants to have a degree in zoology, or a related field, have at least five years experience of working with exotic birds, and have strong people skills according to The Sun newspaper. The applicant will also educate children about flamingos as part of Baha Mar’s Explorer’s Club for Kids.
Cosmopolitan is reporting a new flock of flamingos will arrive at the resort in March and the applicant will assist the resort’s chief scientist who oversees the Baha Mar’s nature sanctuary, which houses turtles, stingrays and nurse sharks. The flamingos will reside in their own “Flamingo Mansion” – a fitting environment for the national bird of the Bahamas.

Baha Mar will take applications for this dream job through February 28.
