Kourtney Kardashian is no stranger to jet lag. As a star on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, a busy mom, and owner of her own company, Poosh, the eldest Kardashian sibling spends a lot of time jet setting around the globe.
So when it comes to the debilitating effects of jet lag, Kourtney has a few tricks up her sleeve and, in keeping with her lifestyle, they are all-natural.

The busy mom revealed her top cures on her website Poosh, which covers all things health & wellness, life & style, and home & entertaining.
Kourtney reveals she avoids caffiene when flying and instead sticks to decaffienated tea. “Once you’ve landed, figure out the time difference and only drink coffee when you normally would at home,” Kourtney shared. “This will really help your body stay balanced.”
She is also a fan of Adaptogen Powder – ancient Chinese medicine herbs known to help ease stress and possibly help with sleep. “I’ve found that certain adaptogens, like ashwagandha, have a powerful effect on me and help to soothe my body, allowing me to have a much deeper sleep,” Kourtney says, but adds it’s important to let your healthcare provider know in case it interacts with anything else you may be taking.
Essential oils also play a role in Kourtney’s methods to combat jet lag, with lavendar oil being a favorite due to its ability to help the body relax. “I like to carry a little roll-on tube of lavender oil and put some on the back of my neck and shoulders during a long flight. It helps calm and relax my body, and I notice that I sleep better when I do little things like that,” Kourtney shares on Poosh.
Kourtney also recommends grabbing a green juice drink for a good dose of vitamins and making sure you get up and move around during your flight to improve blood flow and circulation.
Lastly, Kourtney suggests melatonin supplements if you have a hard time sleeping on a long-haul flight, or falling asleep in new locations. She is also a fan of Miers Labs No Jet Lag Homeopathic Remedy, which are made with just five natural ingredients. “This homeopathic remedy will help to alleviate jet lag symptoms that affect body temperature, heartbeat, blood pressure, and physiological patterns,” Kourtney shares. “Just chew one tablet before your plane takes off and one right when you land (if you’re flying a long distance, take one every two hours) and you will honestly see and feel how effective these are.”
