Universal Orlando Resort guests cannot get enough of the park’s newest attraction with riders calling Jurassic World’s VelociCoaster the “best roller coaster in the world, hand’s down.”
Located in the Islands of Adventure theme park, the coaster – which is the fastest and tallest in Florida – features a stomach-lurching 80-degree descent and an incredible 70 mph launch.
The ride opened to a myriad of awesome reviews in a video released by the park.
“Everything in the queue feels like you’re in Jurassic World,” one rider exclaimed, while another revealed they would rate VelociCoaster a 15 out of 10.
According to the Points Guy, Jurassic World’s VelociCoaster runs along nearly a mile of track and takes riders 115 feet up into the air all whilst riders sit in seats with just a lap bar to hold them in place (no over-the-shoulder constraints!). Universal also claims riders will be airborne for a total of 12 seconds.
