If you’re planning on heading to next year’s Super Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona, you’d better book that hotel room now!
According to the USA Today, Phoenix-area hotels already have limited availability for the big game – and with just six months to go, many hotels in metro Phoenix are already sold out.
Worse still, booking a hotel room for the weekend of February 10 – 13 – if you can find one – will set you back an arm and leg!
USA Today reports hotel room rates for Super Bowl weekend are going anywhere from $452 per night (for a hotel located 33 miles away from the State Farm Stadium in Glendale) to $1,114 per night for a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Midtown (approximately 17 miles from the stadium).
“One of our salespeople was trying to bring a small group for a meeting around Super Bowl time and the cheapest rate was around $1,200 per night,” Eric Kerr, vice president of insights and development with Visit Phoenix, shared with USA Today. “We know a lot of places have their sites filled up.”
