If your dream life involves snuggling up amidst frosty Icelandic weather while indulging in your favorite skyr yogurt flavor, Siggi’s has the perfect position for you!

According to NPR, Siggi’s is looking for a freelance employee to run its social media accounts. The job involves a move to Iceland (yay!), compensation of up to $50,000 – and best of all, Iceland has a four-day work week.
Siggi’s recently launched a new campaign called “Less Sets You Free” that celebrates freedom in simplicity. The freelancing gig of Chief Simplicity Offi-skyr will allow someone to spend time living in Iceland and documenting via social media what a simple life in Iceland can look like so that we can learn a thing or two about simple living here in the US.

The freelance position will include the following duties:

Documenting the mission of simplicity and living in the way that initially inspired the Siggi’s brand.

Identifying the best ways to truly live a simple life and bringing that forth with photography, research, etc.

Suggesting potential new simple Siggi’s flavors inspired by eating quintessential Icelandic foods.

Documenting the experience of chasing the Northern Lights, waterfalls, glaciers and all that Iceland’s nature has to offer.

Creating content for Siggi’s social channels.

“Iceland boasts high living standards, friendly people, beautiful nature, and a rich culture; it is consistently ranked as one of the top five happiest countries in the world,” Siggi revealed on its website. “So, as we see a culture shift to focusing on a simple lifestyle, we could learn a thing or two from this Scandinavian country!”

To apply, candidates must have a valid passport, a desire to live a simple life, the ability to adapt to new cultures, strong writing skills, and a love for photography.
