London has been crowned the world’s slowest city to drive in.
The British capital city won the unfortunate title after new research from TomTom discovered it took an average of 36 minutes and 20 seconds to drive just 6.2 miles!
According to the BBC, travel times had increased following the rail strikes when more people switched to road transportation. They also found Thursday evenings between 5 and six o’clock in the afternoon is when traffic is at its worst in London.
TomTom revealed India’s Bengaluru had the second slowest time at 29 minutes and 10 seconds, followed by Dublin, Ireland, at 28 minutes and 30 seconds.
TomTom found American cities, including Cinncinati, Oklahoma City, Dayton, Jacksonville, San Diego, and Tulsa better for drivers to maneuver faster.
