Head to Qatar for this Bucket-List Worthy Shark Encounter

Discover Qatar has partnered with Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara to give shark-loving guests the chance to experience one of the largest whale shark gatherings on the planet.
According to BreakingTravelNews, from April to September, the cooler waters off the coast of Qatar are home to large numbers of whale sharks that gather to feed close to the surface.
Discover Qatar and Banana Island Resort guests can view the magnificent creatures courtesy of a dedicated catamaran where the whale sharks can be seen from the front and back of the vessel.
Discover Qatar will also provide a whale shark expert to help educate guests about the slow-moving gentle giants – and a professional photographer will be on hand to capture all those bucket-list moments.
