Has experiencing an African wildlife safari always been on your bucket list? With many of us practicing social isolation at home for the foreseeable future, all travel plans have been put on hold, especially ones involving international travel. But that doesn’t mean you can’t traverse the great African parks in search of lions, elephants and a myriad of other animals.
Luckily, virtual travel experiences are popping up to help us battle cabin fever and see the world from the comfort of our own homes – and for the whole month of April wildlife lovers can virtually join a real life African Safari trip courtesy of experiential travel company ‘andBeyond’ and wildlife broadcaster ‘WildEarth.’
The companies have joined up to stream tours twice a day throughout the whole month of April, allowing viewers to tune in and watch either a sunrise or sunset safari across two South African game reserves: Djuma Private Game Reserve and andBeyond Ngala Private Game Reserve.
Each session lasts approximately three hours with afternoon drives keeping the first 45 minutes dedicated to younger tour guests and their questions.
Unable to join a tour? WildEarth and andBeyond are also offering Instagram Live videos.
