Florida tourism numbers have shown the Sunshine State continues to grow in popularity.
According to TrendingInTravel, tourism numbers in Florida broke records in 2022 and in the last quarter of the year.
Dana Young, the CEO and President of Visit Florida said tourism numbers for 2022 were up five percent from 2019.
In 2022, a whopping 137.6 million people visited Florida, with international arrivals accounting for 7 million of those tourists.
According to TrendingInTravel, visitor numbers in the fourth quarter rose six percent from 2021, and international arrivals increased 35.5 percent from the last quarter of 2021. However, international visitor numbers are still 28 percent below the pre-pandemic level in the state overall.
