Costa Cruises to House Ukrainian Refugees on Ship

Costa Cruises have announced they will provide temporary housing to Ukrainian refugees aboard their Costa Magica cruise ship.
The cruise line, which is a subsidiary of Carnival Corp., has also sent medical supplies and medicine to aid those injured by the Russian invasion.

“We have offered one of our ships to the Italian Government to be integrated into the National Civil Protection’s plans as a potential temporary hub for Ukrainian refugees in case of growing numbers of arrivals in Italy in the coming weeks,” Costa Cruises said in a statement reported by USA Today.
“Our thoughts are with the affected people, including the families of our many Ukrainian employees who are understandably concerned for their loved ones,” the company added.
