American Express Releases its Top Ten Travel Destinations For 2023

American Express has released its much-anticipated 2023 Trending Destinations list compiled using the number of global AMEX Card Member travel reservations made between 2019 and 2022.
The survey found that 50 percent of people are already planning their vacation for next year, and most adults spend at least five hours planning their trip. Eighty-one percent of those surveyed revealed they want to maximize every hour of their vacation.
In addition to compiling the top ten travel destinations for 2023, American ExpressTravel also identified strong trends driving travel for next year: New adventures, holistic vacations, personalized experiences, making travel a New Year’s resolution, and spending more money for the ultimate bucket-list getaway.
According to American Express Travel, these are the Top Trending Destinations for 2023:

2. Florida Keys, Florida, USA
3. Istanbul, Turkey
4. Lisbon, Portugal
5. Mexico City, Mexico
6. Montenegro
7. Paris, France
8. Sydney, Australia
9. Woodstock, Vermont, USA
10. Yakuve Island, Fiji
