Southwest Airlines Adding Two New Traveler-Friendly Upgrades to Planes

Southwest Airlines has listened to customer requests and are adding two new traveler-friendly upgrades.
First up is larger overhead bins. If you’ve ever struggled to cram your carry-on bag into a tiny overhead bin whilst a slew of impatient travelers lines up in the aisle behind you, Southwest’s new bins will be a welcome upgrade.
According to the airline, all new Southwest planes from Boeing will be equipped with larger overhead bins, making it easier to stash carry-on luggage.
Secondly, the airline is addressing its lack of USB charging ports.
The airline stated that by the end of 2023, more than 250 of its fleet will be equipped with charging ports for each plane seat – a welcome upgrade for travelers who forget to bring a portable charging device!
