Shaq’s Gigantic Car Collection
We all know that athletes have some of the coolest cars out there, but when your name is Shaquille O’Neal, not only can you buy the most extravagant whips, but almost all of them are going to be customized. Why? Well, because of his large stature of course! And that’s not a bad thing, because when we say custom, we mean all the bells and whistles.
Shaq is no stranger to putting his own personality and twist on things, and his car collection is a genuine reflection of his larger-than-life personality. He’s got utility vehicles, sports cars, cars with class, and cars for the every-day commute. Even though he may have a large collection, you can see how wisely he chooses his cars, and each of them is as unique as the next.
Vaydor Roadster
Despite it’s affordable value and compact size, Shaq got onboard the trend of the Vaydor Roadster kit cars, which are actually modeled after the Infiniti G35 Coupe. It’s only run by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine, but his 7’1” frame makes it larger than life.
Ford F-150 (Gold)
There’s no more iconic truck than the Ford F-150, and you know when Shaq bought it, they needed to supersize it. The gold paint job also brings out a flashier side to the vehicle, although Shaq still stands to its height despite it being lifted. You won’t miss him coming down the road in this.
Dodge Challenger (Custom)
This special Dodge Challenger owned by Shaq is truly custom, from the accommodation of his size, to a unique retractable roof, and even leather and suede seats for added comfort. This particular Challenger also has a V-8, which ensure performance won’t be an issue.
Ford F-650 (Terminator Themed)
Shaq’s Ford F-650 is actually one of two that he owns, and its Terminator-themed edition is an homage to his days as a member of the Miami Heat, for which he left his original Los Angeles Lakers for. The truck stands out with its fiery theme, and makes the whole rig even more intimidating, just as Shaq was on the court.
Hummer H2S
Shaq’s Hummer may perhaps be the most emblematic of all, because the vehicle just seems to suit the big man’s style perfectly. This special edition H2S features custom rims with the Superman logo on the wheels, a slick maroon paint job, and of course an outrageous sound system. You won’t have to think twice if you spot it on the road.
Lamborghini Gallardo (Stretched)
Of course when we’re talking about Shaq, the naturally small size of luxury sports cars is an apparent problem. Luckily, the baller has connections and has a “stretched” Lamborghini Gallardo to compensate, and it’s entertaining to imagine this towering figure exiting such a low-down car. The extra modifications surely inflate the price point.
Rolls Royce Phantom
Not only did Shaq buy one of these classy Rolls Royce Phantoms for himself, but he also gifted one to LeBron James for his birthday! Once again, the automaker made some adjustments so they both were able to cruise comfortably in style. It’s surely one of his most expensive rides.
Mercedes Sprinter Van
Shaq is always on the move, so it only makes sense that he owns a sprinter van to get him to closer locations faster, and in style. His custom Mercedes sprinter is equipped with wood floors, a luxury sound system, a mini bar, and of course a TV to watch the games. It also has completely custom quilted seats. Did someone say road trip?
Dodge Challenger Hellcat
When Shaq is looking to go fast, he hops in his Challenger Hellcat and gets 700 horsepower, since this beast is loaded with a 6.2L V-8 engine. It also has some pretty snazzy under-lights, and the sleek black paint job makes it look menacing. It’s easily one of his faster vehicles.
Jeep Wrangler
Even Shaq needs a modest vehicle that he can use for more practical purposes, or perhaps some off-road adventures. Queue the Jeep Wrangler, customized of course with extra large doors for more seating space, since they’re typically 4-doors. This vehicle was customized by West Coast Customs, from Pimp My Ride fame, meaning it certainly has bells and whistles.
