Norwegian Cruise Lines has announced the end of its pre-cruise COVID testing requirement for certain cruises.
In an announcement from the company, Norwegian revealed that pre-embarkation testing will stay in place for cruises leaving from locations that still have local testing rules, including Bermuda, Canada, Greece, and the U.S.
“The relaxation of the testing policy is in line with the rest of the travel, leisure and hospitality industry worldwide as society continues to adapt and return to a state of normalcy,” Norwegian said in a press release. “The Company continues to strongly recommend all guests be up to date on vaccination protocols and test at their convenience prior to travel.”
The policy change will go into effect beginning August 1, 2022.
