Celebrity Attendees That Make EDC Fire

Since Insomniac took over EDC in 1997, the festival has grown into a worldwide event that includes Mexico, Japan, South Korea, China, Portugal, and Orlando, Florida. The flagship party is in Las Vegas, and this year the three-day event is coming up on May 20th. Who is going to be there? The performers are one thing, but what celebrities will you have the chance of bumping into if you go?

Fresh off of setting an unruly fan straight on a plane, Mike Tyson could be attending. He has been known to hit the EDC before. And by hit, we don’t mean that kind of hit. If you run into the famous boxer, lift your drink. He’ll likely toast with you and let you take a selfie. But then, walk away. You don’t want to be the next guy he punches.

Paris Hilton, the social butterfly who just made one Tik Tokker’s day running around with her bodyguard chasing her, will most likely be there. She’s known to go to EDC because that’s where she can truly be herself. Okay, so the model/DJ/singer/actress/entrepreneur/hotel heiress can be herself anywhere she wants. All I’m saying is if you go, you stand the chance of bumping into her. Or at least watching her run around while her bodyguard loses his breath keeping up with her.

You never know where you’ll find Drake when he’s at EDC. He could be in the VIP section chilling with the other high rollers or show up on stage for a surprise performance. In 2017 the suave rapper posted an Instagram informing his many followers, “Young Metro 3X brought me to space for a night.” Drake jumped on stage and did a set with Metro Boomin. What’s going to happen this year is anyone’s guess.

The ganja king has been known to toke everywhere around the world. His name is synonymous with weed at this point. If it’s on the scene, Snoop Dogg is there. Here he is at the Marquee SkyDeck at kineticFIELD posing with a few fans. Snoop was at EDC a decade ago and got on stage during a set with Major Lazer. This year? Who knows! Snoop is joining EDM pioneer Steve Aoki to create a new duo dubbed Alpha Doggz. Maybe the rap legend will appear at EDC and mingle with some future collaborators. Just imagine being there when he passes the blunt to you. Wouldn’t that be the shizzle?

Vin Diesel, the cool guy from The Fast and the Furious, might check out the festival. It’s not as if he hasn’t been to them before. Here he is spotted at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami. He’s into EDM and watching the turntables spin. So keep your eyes open. It’s not a stretch to think you’d see him in Vegas.

Leonardo DiCaprio can be found in the VIP areas hanging out at the Oxygen Bar or jumping in the Ball Pits. Not really. Could you imagine? The Oscar winner has been known to actually mingle in the crowd. But he plays it cool like a poker player who has just made the biggest call of his life. Do you think you can find him? Where’s DiCaprio? It’s the new Where’s Waldo?

Lil Nas made a surprise appearance at EDC when he got on stage with Diplo in 2021. Lil Nas likes to get wild just like everyone else. Seriously, you might want to keep your eye out for the rapper because it’s hard to tell where he’ll be. He has an appetite for the VIP areas, but Lil Nas might just get out there and mingle with the crowd. Why wouldn’t he? That’s where all the best people are.

When we discussed Ruby Rose, we already mentioned that Justin Bieber makes appearances at EDC festivities as well. In 2015, during EDC week, he brought a little something more and picked up a mic and gave his fans a show. That’s EDC, guys! You never know who will show up and what’s going to happen.

DJ Diesel has dropped beats at EDC. He’s performed sets at EDC Orlando and EDC Vegas. But the NBA legend also likes walking the grounds and hanging out with others. Keep a lookout for the goliath as he might be there!

Bryan Cranston doesn’t just attend EDC. He makes a splash. Before introducing Above & Beyond, Cranston summoned his infamous Walter White character. Then, he introduced the act in style before breaking bad (no pun intended) and dancing. The following day he commented, “Leaving EDC—Vegas right now. Pulled an all-nighter. Old, my ass…Old, my head. Old, my feet…Happy Father’s Day!”

Bella Thorne made headlines one year when she hit up the EDC sporting fuchsia hair, pink knee-high socks, and fairy wings. Thorne loves to rave, and it appears to be a family affair. Her sister is none other than DJ Dani. DJ. Dani, who looks a lot like Thorne, claims she’s a “Rainbow fairy living in a human world.” Weird? Yes, but she knows her way around a turntable. I want to be in that future moment when DJ Dani is in the booth and Bella is dancing beside me. That would be a rush.

The stunning Ruby Rose has hit EDC festivities and festival grounds in the past. In fact, in 2015, something special happened to the Batwoman. She was caught hanging with Justin Bieber! The internet blew up with comments that they look so much alike. Ruby Rose had fun with it when she tweeted, “So this happened.. @justinbieber haha my brother.”

Cara Delevingne is a fun person to be around. She’s not above wearing a pepperoni pizza onesie in Ibiza. She once dropped her drugs on the ground in London. She’s a huge raver, and she hits all major music festivals, from Burning Man to Coachella. EDC is definitely her kind of hang.

One thing you’ll find at EDC is a whole slew of models. From Instagram wannabes to the real deal- beautiful people are all over the carnival grounds. The Victoria’s Secret model Sara Sampaio goes to EDC with her “girlies.” That means she’s not the only beautiful one. She’s bringing other beautiful people with her. That makes for a higher ratio of beautiful women. So, Sara is doing EDC a great service!

He won’t be telling jokes on stage. But he’s been known to go to an EDC or two. You might party with the Weasel if you happen to be in the right place at the right time. But for how big this event has become, you’ll always be in the right place at the right time.

The Price Might Be Right with Drew Carey on the scene. He talked about EDC in one of his standup routines and tore his “friend” a new one. A true story about EDC is there are drugs. Of course, there are. No one’s trying to hide that fact. Drew’s friend took LSD, Molly, and smoked a joint. The joke goes that Carey’s friend blamed the joint for what “set him off.” Yeah, bud. That’s the one that did it.

Brody Jenner from The Hills likes to hit the Sin City and party. He has been known to drink out of a shoe! Jenner likes to travel there in style, by helicopter to and from the festival just to enjoy the show. The only way you’ll bump into him is in the VIP section.

EDC is kind of Pasquale Rotella’s thing, if you didn’t know. Being the founder of Insomniac and all, it would be weird if he weren’t there. Imagine throwing a barbecue for all your neighbors and then taking off to the beach that day while they feasted on your cheeseburgers. That’s not Rotella’s style.

Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff, the hip-hop trio from Georgia, might make a great EDC headliner, but they like to attend. They’ve been known to hang out in the VIP section, taking in all the music and enjoying the attention that gathers around them.

Tara Reid is almost a definite. She’s been the life of the party for the last two decades and has gone crowd surfing on a raft while spraying everyone with champagne. Here Reid is with Steve Aoki on stage. When you’re a celebrity, it has its benefits. Bodyguards are less likely to throw you off stage when you jump up on it and more likely to take the selfie so you can post it on your Instatweets and Faceyspaces.

David Lee Roth was a guest of Pasquale’s one year. Of course, he had a great time. But speaking to the fans around him, “EDC weekend is like participating in the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. Easily more dramatic than Super Bowl Halftime, Pasquale and his teams have changed the way the world perceives big-time entertainment forever.”

Scott Disick lives it up in his jet-set lifestyle. I mean, this guy party’s everywhere! It’s no surprise he has attended in the past. EDC is a natural habitat for this hardcore partier. The reality star stirred the rumor mill when it looked like he attended with Bella Thorne the year she went pink. But Bella squashed the rumors that suggested there was a relationship between them even though they hung awfully close.

It’s no secret that American skateboarder Nyjah Huston likes to party. If you can imagine, back in 2021, Huston even threw a massive party and got charged for going against pandemic restrictions. So, will the famous skateboarder be at EDC? In a Reddit discussion, TrailBlazinMamba24 talked about meeting Huston at the festival. No further information was given, but I can imagine they skated together and then mixed up high octane smoothies.

The sports reporter for ESPN can sometimes be goofy, but he’s a reporter who wears a suit and tie every day- goofy is as loose as you can expect him to be. So wouldn’t you be surprised to know that Gutierrez has a wild side! Apparently, Gutierrez has been seen at EDC festival grounds. The sighting was confirmed by Reddit users who say they’ve spoken to him. The reporter is a guy who works hard and plays hard!

In 2019 Ezekiel Elliot made headlines when he was handcuffed at EDC. But that’s not going to stop the Cowboys’ RB from going to EDC again. I mean, Elliot was only handcuffed. He wasn’t arrested. Alls that happened was that Elliot got a tad too physical and pushed a confronting security guard to the ground. After the whole ordeal, the officer didn’t want to press charges. So, the cuffs were taken off. So really, that’s all on them. You’ll see Elliot at EDC again.
