Carnival Cruise Line to the rescue!
Crewmembers aboard the Carnival Jubilee spring into action on Monday after spotting two men stranded in the Gulf of Mexico in a kayak. According to the New York Post, after the boat the men were on sank, they used a kayak to stay afloat off the coast of Isla Mujeres, Mexico, before being rescued by the cruise ship.
This is the second time a Carnival ship has rescued people stranded in the ocean in a little over a month. The New York Post reports that the Carnival Vista ship rescued six men off the coast of the Dominican Republic in December.
