This summer, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is unveiling a freshly imagined show at Theater in the Wild.
“Finding Nemo: The Big Blue … and Beyond!” will offer fans a brand new script, new scenic set pieces, and a new LED video wall, that will include a 32-foot sunken submarine and a massive 15-foot fishtank volcano.
Disney teamed up with Pixar Animation Studios and designers at Disney Live Entertainment to reimagine the show, which Finding Nemo fans will be thrilled to find out remains true to the designs in the original film.
“Stepping inside the Theater in the Wild, we’ll catch up with the group of fish from Dr. P. Sherman’s office in “Finding Nemo,” who have made their way across the ocean to the Marine Life Institute. The fish tells Nemo’s story in this fully updated, 25-minute show, incorporating live performers and puppets, along with many beloved songs and production numbers from the original “Finding Nemo: The Musical,” Disney announced on its blog.
