The pandemic has changed how we travel with more people favoring destinations noted for outdoor recreation and Allegiant Air is looking to make visiting these locations much easier.
As part of its 21-route expansion, Allegiant will add flights to three new cities that are famous for getting people out and about in nature.
According to USA Today, the Las Vegas-based budget airline plans to start adding nonstop service to Portland, Oregon, in April and Key West, Florida, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in June.
Allegiant spokeswoman Hilarie Grey told USA Today these destinations were chosen specifically because they are gateways to outdoor recreation, adding they have seen a spike in travelers seeking outdoor vacations.
