The coronavirus pandemic may mean you might not get to see you mom this Mother’s Day, let alone travel, but one company is making sure that all changes with a fantastic competition for 2021.
According to Travel+Leisure, Stride Travel – a community marketplace for global adventure trips – has launched a new contest and the lucky winner will get to take their mom away on a free trip anywhere in the world in 2021 via their marketplace.

“Our aims are twofold,” Travel+Leisure reports the CEO of Stride Travel, Gavin Delany, as saying. “To celebrate the women who have raised and inspired us and to provide those with a love of travel a mental reprieve and opportunity to dream and indulge right now.”
“Mother’s Day is about celebrating the incredible women who raise us, inspire us, and encourage us to live our dreams. What better way to let your mom know how much she means to you than embarking on an incredible travel adventure together?” Stride Travel shared on their website.
“Let’s honor mom together on social media with short videos praising her for enabling us to indulge our curiosity about the wonders of the world.”
Entering the contest is easy! Simply sign up to become a member of the Stride Travel community and post a one-minute video detailing why your mom is amazing, how she inspired your love of travel and which country you would love to visit together. Post the video to the #MomDeservesTheWorld Facebook group and make sure to tag @stridetravel.
Stride Travel revealed on their website that “the 10 people with the most likes on their video with the #MomDeservesTheWorld hashtag on Facebook and tagging @stridetravel by the end of day, May 10 (Mother’s Day) will be finalists and earn an additional $100 travel credit.”
“One grand prize winner will be selected for a free trip for 2 people (you and your mom) anywhere in the world, from Stride’s partners, to be taken in 2021,” the company revealed.
