Oprah Winfrey is back with her annual ‘Oprah’s Favorite Things’ list for 2022, where she selects 104 gifts for everyone on your holiday list. And, if one of your gift recipients loves to take vacations, Oprah has you covered by including some amazing travel essentials in this year’s list.
PARAVEL Fold-Up Backpack

A smart fold-up backpack is a must for throwing in a suitcase to use at your destination or as an extra bag to bring home all the goodies you pick up on vacation. It made Oprah’s Favorite Things list and is one of our favorites too. “Made from 15 upcycled plastic water bottles fashioned into lightweight, water-resistant nylon, its party trick is that it can fold up into a zippable pouch you can stow away in your luggage, so you have an extra bag,” Oprah writes. PARAVEL’s fold-up backpack retails for $52 on Amazon.

Brouck and Co Capri 2-in-1 Garment and Duffle Back
Travel is back in a big way and what better way to schlep all your clothes than this smart carry-all, which retails for $96 at Amazon. “Fill up the garment bag first, then add a couple of pairs of shoes to the side pockets and zip it all up so it transforms into a duffel bag before you put in the rest of your essentials,” Oprah says of this travel must-have.

TRVL Design Luxe Case

According to Oprah, “the makeup lover in your life will surely be into these woven cosmetic cases. They look luxe and are just the right size to stash makeup and some skincare.” The set comes complete with one big case and two additional small pouches and retails for $67 on Amazon.

Benevolence LA Velvet Travel Jewelry Box Organizer
Retailing for only $20 on Amazon, this velvet-lined jewelry box is small enough to stash in your carry-on yet spacious enough to house all your vacation rings, bracelets, and necklaces.

SPANX AirEssentials Pullover and Pant

“You might know Spanx for its shapewear, but it also does fantastic cozy clothes,” Oprah raves. “When I tell you this set feels light as air, I’m not kidding. It’s my new leisure suit. The perfectly loose-and-lightweight fabric is like buttah!” Retailing for $176 on Amazon, the pullover and pants set make the perfect travel outfit.

Alpine Cashmere Striped 80-inch x 25-inch Travel Wrap

Airplanes can get chilly and there’s nothing better than packing an ultra-soft and cozy travel wrap to snuggle under as you travel to your destination. This Alpine Cashmere wrap, which made Oprah’s list, retails for $199 on Amazon but is worth every penny. “This versatile design can be a scarf, a wrap, or even a travel blanket,” Oprah shares.

Maya J Jewelry Bracelet Hair Ties
Wise packers always know to bring something that does double duty, and these ponytail holders are fashionable enough to double as cute bracelets. They come in a set of three in yellow or white gold and retail for only $18 on Amazon.

Nori Steam Press Iron

According to Oprah, “This gadget quickly presses both sides of a shirt, dress, or pair of pants and reaches its highest temperature in three minutes. You can also use it to steam or refresh clothes. And with people traveling again, it’s ideal for throwing into your suitcase.” Retailing for $120 on Amazon, the Nori Steam Press Iron is available in various colors.

ASUTRA Silk Eye Pillow
Not only can you use this as an eye mask on the plane, but once you reach your destination, simply pop it in the freezer to help depuff those jet-lagged eyes. “Superstar Venus Williams is a co-owner of Asutra, the brand that makes this weighted silk eye pillow. It blocks light and is filled with lavender to help you relax,” Oprah says of the pillow, which retails for $22 on Amazon.

Girlfriend Collective Compressive Pocket Legging
No need to don cumbersome compression socks on your next transatlantic flight when you can slide on these ultra-comfortable leggings. According to Oprah, “The husband-and-wife team behind Girlfriend Collective (Gayle, a huge fan, told me about them) is making activewear more inclusive with this design that comes in sizes XS to 6XL. The pieces are sweat-wicking, high-compression, and high-waisted, and 79 percent of the fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles.” You can snag a pair for $70 on Amazon right now.
