Teaching is challenging and Norwegian Cruise Line wants to treat a few lucky educators to a free, relaxing cruise!
According to
Travel Pulse, Norwegian Cruise Line has announced the launch of its fourth annual ‘Giving Joy’ recognition program, which provides teachers with a free cruise and a chance to set sail on the Norwegian
Viva.
From May 8 to 12, Teacher Appreciation Week will be celebrated to recognize teachers’ hard work and commitment in inspiring students and creating a positive learning environment. As part of the annual program, the cruise line will give a seven-day cruise for two to the top 20 teachers who receive the most votes in the United States and Canada in 2023. The top three grand prize winners will also be invited to the exclusive Christening voyage of Norwegian Viva later this year.
“We are proud to once again launch our Giving Joy campaign and to continue to celebrate the very important role teachers play in our community and for our youth, as well as to reinforce the connection between travel and education,” NCL President David J. Herrera said in a statement reported by
Travel Pulse. “We believe educators are a powerful source of inspiration, just like travel, where both aim to broaden perspectives, connect people around the world and bring awareness to different cultures and experiences.”
