There’s nothing better than seeing two talented, attractive, and super-rich celebrities join together in holy matrimony. The world is also full of failed celebrity marriages that were over before we could say “prenup.” Some couples lasted a few years, others lasted a few months, while there were other unfortunate souls who barely lasted a few weeks.
That’s not all, though. There are some celebrity marriages on this list that lasted just a few hours. These couples have tried to brush these failed marriages under the carpet, but the internet doesn’t forget…
Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds – 15 days
In 2008, Eddie and his then-girlfriend Tracey Edmonds made their way to a private island to get hitched and although the world assumed that they had legally got married, the couple backtracked 15 days later. They stated that their romantic ceremony had been “symbolic” and since decided they were better as friends.
Katy Perry and Russell Brand – 14 months
While many people questioned the American singer and her British comedian boyfriend to begin with, fans congratulated the pair when they tied the knot in 2010. Then, out of the blue, Russell decided to end things after just 14 months of married life. To make things worse, he broke up with her via text message.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard – 15 months
It’s suggested that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp got together under suspicious circumstances, and the couple kept their love a secret for many years. They eventually tied the knot in 2015, but unfortunately, their marriage only lasted 15 months before it crumbled down around them, as allegations have revealed a messy relationship.
Drew Barrymore and Tom Green – 166 days
Drew Barrymore and Tom Green became husband and wife in 2001 after two years of dating, and it’s fair to say that fans had high hopes for the pair. Unfortunately, the universe just wasn’t on their side. After Tom was diagnosed with testicular cancer and after Drew’s home burned down, their marriage just couldn’t take the stress. They divorced after just 166 days.

These two first met on the set of Saturday Night Live in 2008, and they became husband and wife just one year later. However, their marriage lasted just over eight months. Not only did Robin Givens date Eddie Murphy and Michael Jordan, but she was also married to Mike Tyson for a year. These two tied the knot just a few months after they started dating, but after suffering a miscarriage, Robin and Mike began to grow apart. Just a short while later, Givens noted that their marriage was “worse than anything I could possibly imagine.”

This lady has been able to win over some of the hunkiest men in Hollywood, and this was certainly the case in 2001 when she married backup dancer Cris Judd. These two planned the most lavish celebrity wedding imaginable, but these two were together for just eight months before they parted ways. Their divorce was settled a few weeks later.
Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Esposito – 122 days
These two were together for a year before they decided to tie the knot in 2006, and many people believed that they had found their perfect match. It seems as though all good things must come to an end, though, as they called things quits after just 122 days.
