the secret to jobs that allow you to travel, without having to pay yourself? PRESS/FAM TRIPS. The one thing travel jobs have in common (whether you’re a publicist, writer, blogger, travel agent, influencer etc) are these types of trips planned to bring travel pros to experience a destination or hotel first-hand. As a travel publicist, I plan these trips for my clients + invite journalists to come with me in exchange for PR coverage. Since I’m also a writer, I get invited on press trips to cover the hotels/destinations for the publications I contribute to✈️ #dreamjobcheck When creating the travel career course, I made sure to include all of the details and secret insider tips about press trips, because it’s one of my fave parts of the travel industry.✨ what do you want to know about press trips?
“Another fun perk that members love is getting notified on open travel job and intern listings, hand-selected for them,” Stein said. “I am pouring all of my heart and soul into this program to ensure it’s a valuable resource for the up-and-coming travel industry pros.”
The program comes with a one-time cost of $199, with Stein telling Travel+Leisure, “Once a student signs up, they become an official member, gaining lifetime access to the course, community, and ongoing mentorship.”
