According to Hopper, an app that analyzes plane ticket prices and alerts consumers as to when they should buy, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (November 27th of this year) is the best day o buy cheap plane tickets with prices as low as 40 percent off the regular price.
Hopper reveals airlines typically offer great deals on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving because, by then, most people have booked their holiday travel tickets.
Hopper is even forecasting which destinations airlines will be offering the best discounts to, with Tokyo and Las Vegas predicted to get heavily discounted fares.
