When it comes to flying there are a number of ‘must have’ items you need to stash in your carry-on, but travel experts all agree they never fly without this $3 item.

In a Money magazine article, travel experts always make sure to pack a trial sized bottle of Cetaphil moisturizer in their bag.
Why? Skin can dry out super fast onboard a plane and although you should drink plenty of water during your flight, it’s also important to keep your skin moisturized.
According to Money magazine, dermatologist Aegean H. Chan says consequences of the low humidity onboard a flight can cause “discomfort, inflammation, cracking or flaking.”

Naturally, the longer your flight the more you need to pay attention and keep skin hydrated. If you are on a long-haul flight you should also pack eye drops, hydrating lip balm and a facial spritzer. Many travel bloggers also like to take the time during their flight to apply a good face mask.
