Frontier Airlines Scraps Its Customer Service Phone Line

Budget carrier Frontier Airlines eliminated its customer service phone line and “transitioned to fully digital communications,” per reports.
Customers can instead use the 24/7 chat service on or in the app, as well as by text, WhatsApp, or social media.
The low-cost airline is known for charging for everything, including in-flight snacks and carry-on luggage.
Earlier this month, Frontier was fined $2.2 million by the U.S. Department of Transportation and ordered to promptly pay $222 million in customer refunds for canceled and altered flights.
