It may be Florida, but you’ll need your scarf and mittens to visit the Gaylord Palms Hotel this holiday season!

For the first time in two years, ICE! will return to the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee this December and features a very special character plucked straight from a favorite Christmas book.
This year’s ICE! Exhibit is based on the Dr. Seuss Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas. According to Fox 35, the story will “follow The Grinch’s journey from his mountaintop cave to ruin Christmas for the residents of Who-ville, only to find the true meaning of Christmas in the end.”
FOX 35 reports professional ice-carvers will travel to Orlando from China to hand carve the over two million pounds of ice required to construct a 20,000-square-foot frozen exhibit.

Since the temperature of ICE! is kept at a frigid 9 degrees, gloves and scarves are recommended, and all guests will be handed a blue parka to wear as they meander through the ten scenes showcasing the classic Dr. Seuss story.
Guests will also be able to ride down two-story-tall ice slides, take in a memorable Nativity scene, explore ice tunnels and arches and explore an adorable Alpine Village featuring live shows, festive snacks, and a giant Christmas shop.

ICE! runs from November 18, 2022, through January 1, 2023, with tickets starting at $39.00 per person.
