Dolly Parton fans can now rent the iconic country superstar’s tour bus!
According to People, Parton’s 45-foot motorhome – where she penned hits such as Backwoods Barbie and 9 to 5 the Musical – is now available for rent.
I sure do miss my tour bus, but it’ll be a great place to stay for our guests. There are memories in every nook and cranny; Suite 1986 is as close as you can get to living out my touring days! #DollyComesHome pic.twitter.com/QCCsELpPR1— Dollywood Parks & Resorts (@Dollywood) June 24, 2022
Complete with a show wardrobe and wig cabinet, the motorhome was Dolly’s home away from home for fifteen years. Known as Suite1986, the motorhome sleeps two people and is currently parked at Dollywood DreamMore Resort & Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
“I decided to retire it because I wasn’t touring that much anymore and it was just sitting there, and I thought this could be put to really good use,” Parton told the Knox News.
However, staying in one of the world’s most iconic country superstar’s digs doesn’t come cheap. A two-night stay starts at $10,000, but a portion of the profit will go to The Dollywood Foundation, a charity that sends books to children worldwide.
