Published

on

Since everyone gets to participate in Halloween, a lot of attention is often turned toward celebrities to see what innovative and trendy costumes they’ll adorn this year. As always, we idolize their creative choices, but we also love to laugh at the silly ones too.
From iconic characters that are all the hype today, to reliving a character they once played, and even sometimes teaming up with other celebs, it’s never dull to see what fascinating ideas they’ll come up with this time around. After all, they have the money and resources to one-up us all. Click Start Slideshow to see your idols in epic Halloween costumes.

Jason Biggs — Dorothy

Hilarious as it may be, there’s a definite weirdness factor going on with this entire ensemble. Wonder if he had ruby slippers to match….

Neil Patrick Harris and Family — Peter Pan and Captain Hook

Once again, the Harris clan is making everyone else look bad on Halloween! They have style galore, and aren’t afraid to really go all out. Plus, you know, babies just make any Halloween ensemble all the better.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen — Wizard of Oz

This movie is the classic of the classics, and it’s pretty cute seeing a hot couple like this go with something so cheery. Couple goals right there!

Emily Ratajkowski — Marge Simpson

Emily Ratajkowski — the one person on earth who can apply yellow body paint and yet still not manage to look any less incredible!

Iggy Azalea — Cruella de Vil

An attractive Cruella de Vil? Impossible! Not so for the singer, who even went so far with her elaborate costume as to have some spotted canine support with her.

Colton Haynes — Miss Piggy

If you think you just died and went straight to the creepiest part of the underworld, then don’t fret. This is simply the Arrow actor trying his hardest to invoke terror into everyone he comes into contact with. Kermit, eat your heart out!

Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber — Slash and Axl

This supermodel always knows how to dress up for every occasion, and we’re pretty sure that she and her husband really nailed the Guns N’ Roses singers’ ‘80s vibe!

The Rock — The Hulk

The one reason The Rock pulls this off so well is because he’s one of the few people whose own size almost matches Hulk’s! Don’t let his green fury intimidate you, though. Johnson’s really just a lovable teddy bear at heart.

John Stamos — Devil

While this isn’t necessarily a bad costume, somebody like Stamos can’t simply put some devil horns on their head and call it a costume. A man that good looking needs to do something else that’ll make him look a little more intimidating (if that’s even possible!).

Julianne Hough — Crazy Eyes (Orange is the New Black)

In today’s politically-charged world, you’re really not allowed to do anything to offend anyone. So imagine the looks that the talented dancer/actress got when she showed up for the party with her painted face. She was asked to wipe it off, later stating that she didn’t mean any offense.

Naya Rivera — Carmen Sandiego

We finally found Carmen! The Glee star is probably the only person alive who could make the elusive master thief just that much more attractive.

Heidi Klum — Kali

As incredible as the actual costuming itself is, the model ticked off more than a few Hindu followers who found her Goddess Kali (a highly revered figure in the religion) costume pretty offensive.

Heidi Klum — Jessica Rabbit

This Klum costume didn’t make as many waves as her previous one! This time she went with something less controversial and something more mainstream….and she went all the way, making sure that every feature was there.

Katy Perry — Cheeto

This one could pass for either a great costume or a horrible one, it’s really up to you. It’s the ever-wild Katy Perry, so she could probably wear a port-a-potty costume and still look good (if she hasn’t already).

Dwyane Wade — Justin Timberlake

If Julianne Hough couldn’t pull off Crazy Eyes, then there’s definitely no way that the basketball star could pull off Timberlake! The hair and tie are on point, but that’s about it. The rest looks like he’s in Cirque du Soleil.

Kelly Osbourne — Dame Edna

This just might be one of the rare cases where the costume actually looks better than the original source! She’s definitely a huge improvement in terms of sheer looks compared to a 70-something-year-old man dressed in drag, and she pulls it off with aplomb.

Chris Brown — Taliban Terrorist

It isn’t that the rapper doesn’t pull off the look, but in this day and age a costume such as that might be considered just a bit insensitive and in poor taste with everything that’s going on in the world.

Snooki — Missing Child

So for Halloween you decide to dress up with your face on the side of a milk carton that usually has the picture of children who have been horribly abducted and missing for years. What kind of backlash could there possibly be?

Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne — Mario & Luigi

Who would have thunk that two attractive ladies such as these could successfully pull off two middle-aged Italian guys? Though it’s doubtful that they could drive a racing kart quite as well….

Fergie — Miss….Toddler?

We really aren’t sure what look Fergie’s going with — nobody does, in fact. She’s just some sort of princess/diva/miss pageant something-or-other. But, hey, it’s Fergie, so just go with it.

Gigi Hadid — Sandy

Everybody loves a good Grease costume, and the supermodel more than pulls off the classic film’s main leather-bound female protagonist.

Joe Jonas — Derek Zoolander

He may have broken teen hearts in a different age, but now Joe Jonas is crushing it in the Halloween costume department. His spot-on impersonation of the classic Ben Stiller character is sure to make the ladies swoon!

Neil Patrick Harris and Family — Alice in Wonderland

Neil and his family could win awards for their various costumes every Halloween (in fact, they’ll continue to pop up on this list), and this one is certainly no exception. Definitely on-point with their Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Alice, and White Rabbit costuming.

Matt Lauer — Pamela Anderson

As purely entertaining as this Baywatch cosplay surely was, I think we can all say that the 59-year-old TV host probably should have left this costume idea in his head where it belongs!

Chrissy Teigen — Guy Fieri

Even though you can kind of see her underneath, that’s still a pretty astounding transformation! We all know that Teigen is a pretty cool human being, and her on-point costuming only solidifies that. She’s probably a bit nicer than Fieri as well.
