The Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda have just made it a whole lot easier to visit paradise!

According to the Caribbean Journal, Antigua and Barbuda have lifted their travel health restrictions.

Travelers to the twin-island destination will no longer need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to enter the country.
“Antigua and Barbuda has benefited from a highly successful strategy of mass vaccinations, quick detection of imported and community-spread infections and proactive public awareness campaigns in significantly reducing Covid-19 infection levels for the past five months,” the government said in a statement reported by the Caribbean Journal.

The updated policy applies to both air passengers and those arriving by yacht or ferry. The Caribbean Journal reports marine pleasure craft and ferries will need to contact the Antigua Port Authority at least six hours before arrival.

Antigua and Barbuda is home to some of the Caribbean’s most luxurious all-inclusive resorts, including Elite Island Resorts’ Hammock Cove and the Keyonna Beach Resort. The islands are best known for their pink and white-sandy beaches, crystal clear waters, and idyllic climate!
