Plane food is often bland and unappetizing at best, but one Singapore Airlines passenger found his airline meal to be a little extra disgusting after finding a human tooth in his dinner.

According to USA Today, Bradley Button was settled down to enjoy dinner during his flight from Melbourne, Australia to Wellington, New Zealand when he chomped down on something hard.
Unfortunately for Button that hard object turned out to be a human tooth – and worst of all it wasn’t his.

“I threw my guts up,” Button told the Australian Associated Press of his reaction to the unhygienic dental discovery. “For the rest of the flight I was not well; just the idea of having someone else’s body part in my food is not nice.”

According to USA Today, Singapore Airlines released a statement acknowledging a passenger found a “foreign object” in their meal, revealing, “We are currently investigating this incident and have sent the object for analysis. Once the results of the analysis are known we will determine what the most appropriate course of action to take is.”

“We expect all of our meals to meet a consistently high standard,” the airline said.

As for Button, he told the Australian Associated Press he received a voucher for $75 that can only be used on duty-free items on Singapore Airlines flights.
