Airbnb Reveals Hottest Travel Locations for 2020

With vacation rentals located all across the globe, Airbnb has a good idea of the destinations tourists can’t get enough of.
The company took a look at cities across the world and compiled a list of the top 20 cities that have seen the greatest growth in bookings compared to the same time last year.

Airbnb predicts these 20 locations will be the top trending destinations for 2020 – and a few of the places may surprise you!
1. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States (up 729%)
2. Bilbao, Spain (402%)
3. Buriram, Thailand (383%)
4. Sunbury, Australia (356%)
5. Romania (298%)
6. Xi’an, China (255%)
7. Eugene, Oregon, United States (213%)
8. Luxembourg (167%)
9. Guadalajara, Mexico (158%)
10. Vanuatu (140%)
11. Cali, Colombia (137%)
12. Cape Canaveral, Florida, United States (136%)
13. Aberdeen, Scotland (119%)
14. Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada (114%)
15. Ubatuba, Brazil (108%)

While it may be somewhat unusual to see Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the top of a trending destinations list, keep in mind that next year is an election year and Milwaukee will play host to the 2020 Democratic National Convention.
Bilbao, Spain – which came in second place – will host the Euro 2020 Tournament.
